The skyhut is a fully suspendable structure that can be hung on a stand or on natural structures with a honeycomb hexagonal modular pre-fabricated platform made up of cells that bolt together. These cells make it strong for its weight, easy to put up and take down, and fun to look at. The large platform is 12 feet by 14 feet across with a canopy that is 14 feet by 16 feet. It can hold a load of 4000 lbs. and withstand winds up to 120 mph. 

The platform is fully modular, meaning each cell of the platform is its own unit that bolts together to create the tensile honeycomb hexagonal platform. This allows for the structure to be easily transported and shipped to the site of installation, as well as easily disassembled and reassembled in a new location. This makes it possible for the SkyHut to be used in many different applications. 

Although it’s perfect for a permanent installation, moving it is possible. SkyHuts have been to music festivals and other installations both temporary and permanent have been done. The upper portion of the structure is built from triangulating steel tubes attached by heavy duty brackets, this supports a heavy duty all season synthetic canvas enclosure with doors, windows, and skylights. The windows and skylights feature zip out screens or windows that can be switched out as desired there is also a permanent black out window.

The smaller SkyHut has a platform that is 8 feet from point to point with an enclosure spanning 10 feet from point to point. The structure and tent fit the same specs as the larger skyhut platform.
